Student Admission System

Student Admission and Enrollment system supports the student admission & registration process, the maintenance of current student personal and historical data. The database maintained by this system usually contains personal student information.

SMS provides a simplified application process by reducing effort and duplication. SMS uses a single window entry system for selection process.

Functional Features

• Online Registration Status - SMS provides online registration and status information to the student to view their application status (Selected / In-process / Rejected).
• Student Id Generation - SMS provides automatic student id generation based on college, program and year. The system will allow you to define your own settings to generate student id. On generation of student id, student academic and personal information will be automatically moved from application to enrollment.
• Study plan - Study plan is the list of core, optional, elective and specialization units of study for a student. SMS provides the following information for study plan.
  • Creation of various units.
  • Creation of subject details (subject id, name, credit points, pre-requisites)
  • Setting up minimum and maximum study period for a program.
  • Setting up semester per year, max credit points registered for a semester.
  • Total Credit points to be finished under each unit for each program with semester breakup.
  • Defining subjects under each unit.
  • Provision for setting semester wise subject information.
• Credit Transfer - SMS provides transfer of student credit information when the student migrates from one university to the other or moves from one program to another within the university. Subject wise credit transfer will add to the student’s existing finished credit points. Duplication of subject can be avoided.
• Student Record Information - SMS will capture the following details from the student on enrollment.
  • Student personal.
  • Student academic.
  • Student family.
  • Work information.
  • Advisor information.
  • Fee type.
  • Student type.
  • Study type (Full / Part time).
  • Extracurricular activities.
  • Apart from the above, SMS will keep track of student semester information, CGPA and their status (Active / Graduated / Withdrawn / Terminated).
